The harp is a healing instrument and Mary is now playing at many types of facilities -- assisted-living and
nursing homes, as well as meditation and yoga retreats.
Mary has extensive care working with memory care clients. Music is the great bridge between the past and
the present, and studies have shown how powerful and restorative it is in people with Alzheimer's,
dementia and other memory care associated medical issues. She has also worked with hospice and feels it is a blessing to be able to provide comfort with her playing.
Mary has a vast repertoire of tunes, but is also able to improvise -- which is in great demand at yoga and meditation retreats.
She gives reduced fees to all facilities that help people.
Mary and her harp have been such a blessing to our facility! She is able to reach out to many of
our residents that don't normally attend or sit through an activity and captivate them in such a
positive way. Negative behaviors noticeably decrease, and the tone the harp sets is so tranquil
and peaceful that even our nurses say they love when she comes to play because it relaxes them and helps them to focus. Mary herself is such a pleasure to work with and has a sweet and
positive personality!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Mary went above and beyond what was expected. This was a sad bereavement luncheon for a
four-year-old girl who lost her life to leukemia. Mary was compassionate and very comforting to this family. I would recommend her... she is wonderful.
